ENERGY CUTS delivers specific vitamin and minerals that have been shown to help decrease muscle damage brought on by oxidation, increase energy and endurance and help facilitate the recovery process.

INFLAMMATORY SUPPORT COMPLEX: Unlike men, women have a reduced inflammatory response to post-exercise muscle damage. The inflammatory response is necessary for the recovery process to occur, and an attenuated response means a delay in recovery and less time spent in the gym. ENERGY CUTS provides key antioxidants that can help facilitate recovery, reduce the onset of muscle damage and speed nutrient delivery into the muscles, helping prolong workouts and speed post-workout recovery.

POMEGRANATE EXTRACT Pomegranate extract is high in active polyphenol compounds, which have antioxidant effects, including reduction of inflammation brought on by exercise. Pomegranate extract can also have a protective effect on NO, preventing its destruction and enhancing blood flow to working muscles and ultimately increasing delivery of key nutrients needed for recovery and energy production.

GOJI BERRY Goji berry, also known as Lycium barbarum, is rich in antioxidant compounds, including zeaxanthin and a vitamin C precursor. Together, these antioxidants help scavenge and in-activate reactive oxygen species (ROS). Goji berry also contains actives that can help increase the key antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidise.

GINGER Ginger delivers the active component gingerol, which has been shown to have antioxidant properties that help reduce muscle damage and post-exercise delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). This action can help speed the recovery process, reduce muscle pain and inflammation and get you back in the gym faster.

PERFORMANCE & FAT BURNING INGREDIENTS: BRANCHED-CHAIN AMINO ACIDS (BCAAS) Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) play an important role in the regulation of protein synthesis or muscle building. During a workout, the muscles are depleted of aminos, disrupting the nitrogen balance. When this happens, muscle breakdown can occur, causing protein synthesis to halt. Not only can supplementing with BCAAs maintain amino balance, but by doing so, it can also stimulate protein synthesis, preserve your hard-earned muscle and prevent breakdown from occurring. BCAAs can also have an anti-fatigue effect by reducing muscle soreness.

L-CARNITINE L-TARTRATE Carnitine plays a key role in fat metabolism in the body, helping shuttle fat to the powerhouse mitochondria cells to be burned off as fuel. During high-intensity workouts, carnitine availability can preserve ATP (muscle energy) and enhance fatty acid oxidation, thus reducing fatigue and enhancing fat burning. Women have lower carnitine levels, which increases the need for supplementation. Increased carnitine availability can also reduce oxidative stress in the muscles, leading to faster recovery.

CAFFEINE Caffeine’s energizing effect is the result of its ability to help increase fatty acid oxidation, which means more fat is available to be burned off as fuel during a workout.
