Carbohydrate Products

Carbohydrates are a good source of energy for your body. Carbohydrates are either simple or complex, depending on their chemical structure. Simple carbohydrates (Fast Absorbing) include sugars, natural sugars found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, milk, and milk products. Complex carbohydrates (Slow Absorbing) include whole grain breads and cereals, starchy vegetables and legumes. Many of the complex carbohydrates are good sources of Fibre.
